Outdoor range training sessions

Hi everyone

We are looking to introduce new planned activities for the club to improve individual performance in competitions.

We propose the following;

Over the months of November to May every year, we would hold training days on  the outdoor range in Foxton.

The allocated training days would be from 6 pm to 8 pm on Wednesdays and 9 am to 4 pm on Saturdays.

They would be planned shooting activities that are counted towards attendance requirements for your B endorsement.

The subjects they may cover could include – rapid target acquisition, reloading on the move, left and right-hand single-hand shooting, grip, holster draw, chrono graphing ammunition, stance, movement, etc.

The intent is to improve individual skills and as a result score in competitions.

To achieve this outcome we would need individuals who are prepared to put their hand up to run a session.

You would volunteer to be the Range Officer on the roster and be present for the training.

You would not have to run all of the training or be an expert to volunteer.

Please contact our secretary on secretary@levinpistolclub.org if you are interested in running any of these or additional sessions.
